I asked God,
as I most always do,
"what would you have me do?"
"where would you have me go?"
"show me the WAY,
that I might PLAY
DANCE
TWIRL
REST
AND BE
IN YOU"
I wondered why He was not giving me an answer,
and it seemed that nothing came,
in fact the more I asked,
the less I knew!
And then bit by bit,
He showed me
it hit me
the answer,
of course,
present all along
"You are asking and then you are seeking an OUTCOME which I have already accomplished for you, and what you SHOULD be seeking, is me".
Oh, but I thought I WAS! Oh, but I thought 'I AM!'. Oh, but I thought that in asking for an outcome, resolution, and to KNOW ... I should then get on up and GO,
with my own ideas
possibilities
potential fixes
for that outcome!
"Isn't that what God would have me do? Plant it all in Him and then go and DO WHAT I KNOW TO DO?"
Ha! I thought I was letting God lead,
but really I was ASKING Him to
and then industriously getting on up and seeking the RESULT
I had just asked Him to SEND!
I was living in CLAIMING, PROPHESYING, DECREEING,
followed by 'let me just snip this supernatural cord right here which is sending it on down bc actually God I got it I got it I got it it's all good!'
Let me tell you,
it was not good ;)
And it's hard, isn't it? At times. Until we remember that HARD IS NOT OUR PORTION NOR OUR JOB. But before we remember that, it surely IS hard, because there can seem to be a fine line between being LED in how we pour forth as creators ...
and ASKING to be led, PROMISING to trust, WANTING to have it come THROUGH us ...
and then flipping into the action we know how to take and the person we know how to be because, well, shouldn't we be doing SOMETHING? GOD WATCH ME ASK YOU TO POUR FORTH DIVINE TURNAROUND AND THEN WATCH ME PROCEED TO WORKING ALL OF THE WORKS THE SELF I HAVE MOVED ON FROM KNOWS HOW TO DO.
Promises: returned to sender! Until the next day when you claim 'em again, ask again, decide you KNOW again!
LOL.
The truth is ...
renewal is a process
trust a DAILY decision
and handing over?
A responsibility you best believe you cannot afford not to ADHERE to.
The hard bit ... the actual true DISCIPLINE bit ... is the bit before everything drops away,
and you fall in to TRANCE,
with Him
(yes TRANCE IS ALLOWED IT'S IN THE BIBLE LET'S NOT FREAK OUT HERE)
Before that drop
Before that fall
Before the spark
the quiet or immediate full burn
the GREEN LIGHT FROM WITHIN AS THE INNER WITNESS - HIS SPIRIT IN YOU - SAYS GO GO GO AND THEN SENDS FLOW FLOW FLOW AND NOW YOU KNOW KNOW KNOW ...!
There is the mind.
There is the will.
There is often fear.
There is 'maybe I heard wrong or I'm not hearing at all'.
There is striving.
There is fighting.
There is push.
There is 'what if He doesn't give me anything though?!'
There is 'I better just!"
There is the delusion double-speak of 'God has got it, I trust Him!', coupled with 'lemme just do His job for Him real quick because maybe that's what He meant!'
There is tiredness.
There is fatigue.
There is worry.
There is a NATURAL IN YOUR FLESH REPEATED RETURN TO WHAT IT WAS WHAT YOU KNEW WHO YOU WERE AND SO THEREFORE ... WHAT YOU 'APPARENTLY' SHOULD DO.
But,
didn't you COME here to release the way of your flesh, your emotion, your mind, your will?
And to walk by FAITH not SIGHT as you are SPIRIT led with what SUPERNATURALLY is, not what you SEE IN FRONT OF YOU?
And,
aren't you TIRED?
just OH so tired
of waiting to get to the bit where you let GO?
I know I was.
OH so very tired.
Frustrated.
Forlorn.
DESOLUTE.
And dry.
And yet for some reason ... I continued to PUSH. To listen and HEAR. And then claim maybe I wasn't CLEAR. And so I better just FEAR, um, I mean, go do this thing.
Eventually ...
GOD STOPPED ME.
ALMOST BROKE ME (AGAIN!).
AND FINALLY JUST THREW ENOUGH TRUTH AT ME ALL AT ONCE,
that I stopped.
And heard.
Admitting,
He'd been showing me every day ANYWAY, because I had been ASKING every day ...
but I had not been ADMITTING
He was presenting the way.
And so I was letting fear and doubt and just my PREVIOUS self
stay in the drivers seat
my faith SPOKEN to be in God
yet EVIDENCED to be in what I knew how to do.
The DISCIPLINE bit ...
is where you start to see all of this (and believe me, you already do)
you start to KNOW all of this (it's true!)
you start to ADMIT you ARE in fact hearing loud and clear (admit it!)
and you START TO DECREE THAT YOU NOT ONLY HEAR BUT YOU LISTEN AND OBEY
oh, and yeah, what's that other thing?
YOU THEN SURRENDER FULLY WHICH MORE THAN LIKELY, FOR A WOMAN LIKE YOU ...
(sorry for what I'm about to say because I know it's what you find hardest but NOT SORRY AT ALL AND YOU WILL THANK GOD HE HAD ME SAY IT) ...
stop.
freaking.
doing.
stop.
freaking.
striving.
stop.
freaking.
trying.
stop.
your.
IDEAS.
stop.
your.
MIND.
stop.
what you KNOW.
stop.
EVERY PART OF HOW YOU USUALLY GO.
The discipline? The bit most simply will not do because GOD I'LL DO ANYTHING BUT WAIT TIL IT IS TRULY IN MY SPIRIT AND YOU SAID IT?
Is where you simply refuse to take action now. At all. At all at all at ALL. YES no matter what apparent mayhem and disaster this is causing in your life. ISN'T IT THE SAME MAYHEM AND DISASTER YOU CAUSED BY OPENING DOORS NOBODY EVER TOLD YOU TO?
And you just -
wait.
And you just -
ignore the world.
And you just -
be silent.
And you just -
shut yourself away.
And you just -
stop.

and bit by bit drop.
drop.
drop.
until you fall.

all the way
and out
the other side.
Into Him. Into surrender. Into CRACKING. Into then being HEALED,
instantaneously
in a CERTAINTY
which only comes from one place
And in this new world ...
you look around ...
dreamy ...
the trance ...
firmly held ...
finally able to see because you stopped run run running up a storm in which you never COULD see ...
and you finally
BREATHE
RECEIVE
and KNOW
No.
the things
you were trying
to do
achieve
get
fix
are still not done
but somehow ...
there is a knowing
they are
and you just ...

don't care
at all
HOW
Which makes total sense when you consider that in THIS place you are an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PERSON AND YOU DO NOT CARRY THE FEARS THE IDEAS OR THE TEARS OF HER.
So why would you be concerned,

There will be excitement from the moment you say yes
